창덕궁 선정전

창덕궁은 1405년 지어진 조선의 궁궐로, 자연 지형을 살린 배치가 아름다워 1997년 유네스코 세계유산에 올랐다. 선정전은 임금이 신하들과 나랏일을 논하던 집무실(편전)이다. 사진 속 내부에는 임금이 앉던 어좌가 있고, 그 뒤에 왕을 상징하는 일월오봉도 병풍이 있다. 선정전은 궁궐의 유일한 청기와 지붕 건물이다.

EnglishChangdeokgung is a Joseon dynasty palace built in 1405. Praised for the way its buildings embrace the natural terrain, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Seonjeongjeon was the office (pyeonjeon) where the king discussed state affairs with his officials. Inside stands the royal throne, backed by a folding screen symbolizing the king (Irwolobongdo). Seonjeongjeon is the palace's only building with a blue-tiled roof.
